Every Veteran that flies on Honor Flight gets an envelope full of letters from their family and friends, the community, and from students. Mail Call is one of the most memorable parts of their day.

Even after their flight, veterans enjoy receiving mail and hearing from students.

We have over 100 videos, written interviews, and podcasts available on the Honor Flight Chicago website (https://www.honorflightchicago.org/).

Watch one of the videos, read a written interview, or listen to a podcast and then write to the veteran to let them know their story is still out there and you are enjoying it. Teachers: Please prescreen videos as some can be graphic and discuss life after the war and PTSD.

Sometimes, the veteran may have passed on but their family still enjoys receiving mail about the impact their veteran continues to have.
